We also provide a full range of company secretarial services including incorporation and registration, attendance at meetings, maintenance of statutory registers, regulatory compliance and assisting with the filing of statutory returns.

Remedial Assets Management

We are versed in the area of debt recovery, debt restructuring and general assets management. Our Principal Counsel, Dr. Hector Emeka Akwuaka, was the head of the loan recovery department of Pan African Capital Plc, as well as its Group Legal Adviser/Company Secretary, where he excelled. Our Corporate Advisory practice is at the core of the firm's corporate and commercial practice, which provides advice and support on a wide range of corporate and commercial law transactions, including acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and strategic alliances, and assist with structuring, drafting and reviewing agreements.

A major part of our Corporate Advisory work involves investments, acquisitions and corporate restructuring, in conjunction with our specialised legal due diligence services that focus on recognizing the legal risks associated with the companies in which they wish to invest in.

The practice combines technical expertise with leading regulatory authorities to provide superior advice on the whole spectrum of capital markets work including debt and equity transactions, structured debt, high yield and trusts. We also provide advice on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, bank lending, asset finance, securitization and corporate restructuring.

Contract Management

The practice extends support to companies through the whole process of contract management ranging from negotiating terms and conditions in a contract, ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions, and documenting and agreeing on any changes or amendments that may arise during the execution and implementation of the contract.

Foreign Investment and Immigration

The practice advises foreign investors wishing to do business in Nigeria, as well as Nigerian investors, on legal and regulatory requirements related to establishing and doing business in Nigeria. We provide assistance with incorporation and registration as well as with the procurement of authorisations (such as expatriate quotas, pioneer status, business permits) required to ensure the unified establishment and operation of client businesses in Nigeria.

Eagle Crest Solicitors and Advocates provides advice on licensing and other operational requirements to various private telecommunications operators that provide a diverse range of services. We assist various foreign operators with their establishment in Nigeria and with licensing and regulatory compliance matters.

Real Estate Law

The Firm engages in various aspects of property law including drafting and preparation of tenancy agreements, the preparation and perfection of leases, transfers and mortgages, assignments and obtaining governmental consents and approvals accompanying these transactions. We also have expertise in investigating and deducing title, title registrations, as well as the preparation of building leases and agreements.
